Remember that one time when….
I submitted a pic of myself to one of the nerdy game girl blogs from a photoshoot at a friend’s place of me sprawled across a bunch of comic books? And all the little nerds got pissed off? Because they didn’t read the description when I said they were all doubles in the collection and they were all wrapped in plastic and bound by cardboard backing?
God, I laughed. And laughed. And laughed some more. I would have NEVER laid on them as I did if I was unsure about the importance of those books. I felt bad doing it in the first place. But, oh well. Monica (photog/avid comic book collector) said “JUST DO IT ALREADY!” so I had to xD she’d kick my ASS. lol

This year’s Calgary Expo (comic-con basically) features Star Trek: TNG cast members, Tom Felton (like I need to inform you of who that is…), John Noble (Fringe), Adam Baldwin (Full Metal Jacket, Chuck, Firefly, video game voices), and WHEEAAATTTOOONNNNN!!! (Wil Wheaton of TNG, but you’ll probably know him as the nemesis of one Dr Sheldon Cooper of Big Bang Theory)

I'm currently 21 years of age, and I live in the Canadian Prairies. The weather is never good enough here; it's either too hot or too cold. I'm a nerd. Not a geek, and certainly not a dweeb. I'm well-spoken on paper, but it seems whenever I speak I can't seem to get the words out right. I can be opinionated, but so can the rest of the world. I am a fan of cult films and crude writing styles, and I enjoy the odd comic book. I draw, doodle, photograph, write, and sing by myself. Other than those details, I think I'm just like any other "nice" girl out there.
